Office Signage

OFFICE SIGNAGE

Client: Belami Ecommerce

PROJECT SUMMARY

Following a move to a larger office space, Belami Ecommerce wanted to create an environment that was both visually cohesive and easy to navigate. As part of this effort, I was asked to develop a comprehensive signage and way-finding system that would support the company’s brand while enhancing everyday usability for staff and visitors.

The scope of the project included a suite of custom icons, clear and consistent signage for meeting rooms and shared spaces, and guidelines for fridge use and etiquette. Production of the project required close collaboration with vendors to ensure accurate fabrication and installation, including the use of a less commonly available printing method that would allow white icons to be printed on transparent material so that they would display well against the office’s blue accent walls.

To support everyday operations, the project also included a set of informational guides for each meeting room detailing how to connect to monitors, share screens, and access Wi-Fi. One of the highlights of the project was finding a way to outline expectations in the shared cafeteria space. It was important to management that the rules be approachable without feeling too restrictive so in the end, I wrote a poem (no chatbots involved: It was a different time).

The result was a cohesive, functional, and personality-filled signage system that helped bring the company’s new workspace to life.
