Inspired by the chaotic game from the show New Girl, I created a fully playable, handmade version of True American as a gift for my brother. The set includes a parchment-style scroll of rules, zone markers, and a spinner made from Miller High Life cans, all illustrated with playful Americana imagery such as Lady Liberty bringing the cold ones, FDR and JFK in their best party shades, and one determined, damp bird.

This project was so much fun to make, I forgot to take as many pictures of it as I should have. The design is loud, messy, full of character, and it encouraged me to embrace imperfection as part of the aesthetic.
